October 21st - A spiritual and educational event was held at the Surkhandarya regional department of the State Assets Agency on the occasion of the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language.
During the event, the role of the Uzbek language in society, the reforms being implemented to preserve and develop it were discussed. The speakers noted that our native language is the national pride of our people, spiritual wealth and a symbol of national unity.

At the end of the event, the participants emphasized the need to raise the prestige of the native language, use it correctly, and instill love for the language in the hearts of the younger generation.
