December 8 – The Day of the Adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Today marks 33 years since the adoption of our Constitution, which is a solid foundation for the development of our country. Our Holy Book reflects the centuries-old aspirations of our people, glorification of human dignity, and commitment to the principles of freedom, equality, and justice.
The Constitution is the highest document that creates the legal basis of our democratic society and guarantees the rights and freedoms of citizens. Today, the wide-ranging reforms being implemented in our country serve to implement these principles.
