PRIVATIZATION IN UZBEKISTAN: A NEW STAGE
The Government is expanding the privatization program: shares in 84 companies, 1,242 real estate assets and approximately 8,000 hectares of land plots are planned to be put up for sale. New mechanisms for the sale of state assets have been introduced by a Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
