On 28 August this year, UzSAMA in cooperation with the JSC "Organisation of electronic internet auctions" organised a press tour for representatives of the mass media to "Ugam" touristic complex, recreation area "Humson Sanatorium", recreation area "Charvak" (‘Pyramids’), as well as 45 land plots in the territory of Charvak touristic and recreational zone in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.

During the press tour, media representatives visited the "Ugam" touristic complex. This complex is a unique project in Uzbekistan, where multi-storey buildings are being constructed in 18 blocks. The touristic complex with 830 apartments with one, two and three rooms, kindergarten for 100 places, restaurant for 400 places, fitness and spa complex for 100 places, car park for 500 cars and other facilities is also under construction.

As the apartments are under construction, the right to make an investment contract will be offered for sale through the electronic trading platform ‘E-auksion’. By purchasing an apartment in the complex for a fixed fee, the buyer can stay himself or make a profit by renting it out. Apartments in the touristic complex are sold with ready repair. It is possible to lease out apartments through the management company. Electricity is supplied to the complex through the hydroelectric power plant, and the heating system will operate independently on liquefied gas.

The participants also visited the recreation area ‘Humson Sanatorium’, which UzSAMA plans to put up for public sale. The total area of the sanatorium is 14.93 hectares, the area of buildings and structures is 14,971.1 square metres, available rooms are 253. Measures are currently being taken to attract a consultant to the privatizing process of the recreation area.

At the same time, media representatives visited 45 land plots located near the Charvak reservoir, put up for auction on the electronic trading platform ‘E-auksion’ on the right of lease. The land plots consist of lots ranging from 20 hectares to 6.7 hectares.

The buyer acquired the land plots will be able to make payments in instalments for 24 months. In addition, the construction of hotels, guest houses, sports and recreational facilities, service and shopping centres is allowed on these land plots.

Moreover, as previously reported, the recreation area “Charvak” (“Pyramids”) was put up for sale in accordance with the announcement of the UzSAMA on public sales on October 7, 2021. According to the results of the sales, JV LLC “Vip Logistics” was recognized as the winner of the sales with the condition of redemption payment in the amount of 208.0 billion UZS.
